The buttplate has a dog with a bird in its mouth.īarrel Length: 30”, with solid, concave rib with wavy lines, which tapers from 0.536″ at the breech to 0.374″ at the muzzles. There is a fowl scene on the bottom of the receiver and there is decorative scroll and border engraving throughout the receiver and the trigger guard. The left lug is marked “GH / 220915 / 2”. The sides of the frame are marked “PARKER BROS” over fowl scenes. The top of the forend iron is marked “220915”.
The underside of the lug is marked “12 / 11/2” and the left with “220915”. The underside of the barrel set flat is marked “HT / A”, “PS” in circle, and “3 15” under the right barrel and “OVERLOAD / PARKER BROS. STEEL”, with two arrows pointing toward the lettering.
